I recently purchased a 2004 honda fit from a port auction. it's a japan import and only had 22,000km on it. however, it keeps vibrating when moving off and I finally learned that it's the start up clutch, so I just ordered a new one and I am looking to get it put in next week, but I was told this problem will occur again quickly if I don't use the correct transmission fluid in the transmission after its flushed. some sites say best to use honda cvt-f fluid which comes in a white bottle but I am having a hard time locating companies that actually sell it. is this the best transmission fluid to use on the 04 cvt fit transmission and where can I purchase some and if this is not best fluid to use, what is? Please help I really don't want to have to spend tons of money again

 

I would start looking for the Honda product online and consider having a look at the CVT belt... There hasn't been any Hondas with CVT except for scooters.... The system on the scooters are great... You may have to contact Asian, European or SW Pacific sources online for what you need... Jazzista is in Italy speaks great English and drives a car with the same drive train as yours....
