Hi! I just joined this group and am not familiar yet with the site, so I apologize if this is posted in the wrong spot.


Three months ago I purchased a new 2015 Honda Fit. I've only had Hondas for the last 15 years (Civic, Accord, Odyssey).


So far I really love my Fit! I'm wondering why they don't offer more colors. Mine is a dark grey. I really wish they'd offer more fun colors, like lime green, turquoise, etc. It's such a cool little car and I personally would like to have a fun color to drive around in.


Anyone know?

 

Apparently Honda, like many auto companies is "playing it safe" by making bland, inoffensive colors that won't "turn anybody off". I'll admit that I, too, was disappointed by the lackluster assortment of colors offered on the 3rd gen. Fit.


My '09 Fit was "orange revolution", and I loved it because it stood out in a crowd. IMO, a small car can carry off a brighter color that would look out of place on a larger car. I'm disappointed that the Fit is only offered in 8 colors and that four of them aren't really colors at all (white, light gray, dark gray, black). No hot lime green (my first choice), no orange, no light blue, no nothing. In the end, I ended up with a '15 EX in white. It's a pearl white, so it looks nicer than plain white, but, in the end, it looks like every other white car on the road, and there's a LOT of white cars on the road.
