Windshield sand-ding repair?
My '08 Fit has 101K on the odometer, the last 19K of which by me -- and the windshield has sustained innumerable tiny dings from sand or whatever, over time. Not a serious problem -- I can generally only see them when driving into direct sunlight -- but I wondered if anyone has experience with any of the windshield polishing products out there. Is there a good way of smoothing out the windshield again, or should I just not worry about it?

i don't think theres anything you can do about those other than replacing the windshield with a new piece of glass... it can't be polished out
I wouldn't worry about it... my integra when i sold it for the fit was really bad on sunny days it looked like a really bad haze that couldn't be cleaned haha

Glass is really tricky it scratches super easy. I would either pay a professional experienced shop to tackle it or just buy a new windshield.
Although if you don really want to tackle it here are 2 links to get you started on research (warning: its a lot of work)

Thanks for the advice! I might try a little DIY with the cerium-oxide product, just over in an out-of-the-way location on the passenger side, to see if I can make any difference -- and otherwise just not worry about it.
