Accessory Power Adapter Overheating

Just recently purchased a 2016 Honda Fit Fun in Mexico (where I recently retired). Love the car but have noticed that anytime I plug in my cell phone to charge, the charger gets very hot very quickly. Changed the plug and the connecting cable - still overheats.

Is this something I should bring to the attention of the dealer?

Yes, notify your dealer. I don't think a cell phone charger uses enough current to cause overheating.

MY2016 Fits are on the market already in Mexico? Are there any changes from the 2015 model?

Not according to the specs for 2016 US Fits just released here: 2016 Honda Fit - Specifications - Official Site

Only difference I see is a higher price.
