Rear brake light out: fuse?

Rear brake light out: fuse?
Hello,
My driver's side orange light (which flashes when locking the car with the key fob) is out. Also, my rear driver's side brake light doesn't turn on when I press the brake however when I lock the car with the fob, it does flash. This leads me to believe the bulb is good but there's a problem with a fuse. Perhaps the little front blinker and brake light are on the same circuit since they are both not working?

The front and rear blinkers for the key fob are parking lights. The brake light is a separate filament in the same bulb as the tail light/parking light. It sounds like you probably have a front parking light that's out and a rear brake light that's out—two light bulbs to replace, and no blown fuses. The brake light fuse would be for all three brake lights, and the parking light fuse for all the parking/tail lights, I believe.

Great news! I recently removed my front headlight so I know it's a very easy procedure. Interesting that there are separate filaments in the brake light; I never would have thought that. I know front lights are that way because of high and low beams, I guess the replacement bulb will be a bit more expensive.
