Hit curb... car totaled?
So, last night I was driving home and someone decided to pass me on the right and almost sideswipe me. To avoid this, I swerved left.... right into the 3" curb at around 35-40mph. It was dark, and I didn't have a lot of time to see the damage, but I know my front driver's side tire is blown, and at least slightly snapped off. Further, I know that a part of the wheel well came out upon contact with the curb. There is only some lower bumper damage at the driver side, so that my door wouldn't close (keeping in mind, the tire was not on correctly). I drive a 2009 base fit with ~112,000. Are we thinking I will be totaled? This is my first accident.

#1 its YOUR car till you sign the paperwork. Make sure the Insurance co is coving the storage or they will hand you a bill if you don't want it totaled.
Get it to neutral ground, (Your favorite body shop)
Quotes mean nothing the shop will negotiate with the insurance company.. Never pick the approved shop unless you really like it , they are approved because they do what the insurance company tells them not you.

It's possible that you tweaked the unit structure pretty badly. Fits fold up pretty easily; they protect occupants fairly well but they do so by sacrificing the vehicle.
If it's tweaked, take the check. Make sure to negotiate the best value you can, but take the money and get yourself another vehicle.
