Small dent/scratch repair
Okay, so this happened last summer and i first noticed it in a Sams Club parking lot. This really upset me because I'm the guy that parks in the back of the parking lot, on an endspot, and away from all foot traffic just to avoid the tiny scratches and door dings that could occur.
I would like to get rid of these two small dents, one of which has a small scratch through it. I have no idea how it happened. The pictures are attached, if you have any ideas that could help me, I'd really appreciate it.
I'm up for DIY repairs (I just replaced my resistor pack yesterday so that my HVAC will work on settings 1-3 and not just on 4, a common 2nd gen problem), taking it to get fixed if need be, or possibly claiming it through insurance if it wouldn't hurt my rates.

For the scratch, get a touch-up paint kit from the dealer - it is actually a "Dupli-Color 3-in1" kit, containing a fiberglass scrubber which is shaped so as to allow cleaning out the scratch, a "pen" which dispenses color matched paint (or use the included brush for larger areas) AND some clear-coat with it's own little, tiny foam brush to "seal" the paint.
You-Tube videos show how it works (search Dupli-Color) but for a small scratch - or even a foot-long scratch like mine, it's easier than it looks.
On my Milano Red Fit, most of a long scratch was just a light scrape, and the transparent clear coat filled it in making it nearly invisible. A couple of small spots went down to the steel & these I cleaned up and filled with the red paint before covering with the clear
Easy-peasy!
