2009 Honda Fit security light blinks rapidly
I have a 2009 Honda Fit with an aftermarket security/valet alarm. I stalled the engine and when I turned the key to turn the car on again, the engine wouldn't start. I tried again and the engine wouldn't start. On the third try, the engine started, but now I notice that the red security light on the left side under the steering column now blinks rapidly in a pattern of two blinks, slight pause, two blinks, pause. I am able to lock the car, unlock the car, drive the car, the alarm hasn't gone off, but am concerned about the rapid blinking of the red light. This hasn't happened before and I am worried, also, that it will drain the battery. I just want the light to go back to its normal slow blinking when the car engine is off and the doors are locked. What can I do?

Find out the model of the alarm, and find the owner's manual (online?) to determine what the blinks mean.
Most alarms may have a reset button somewhere, and usually with the key in, and the button pushed, this will reset the system.
