At this time we cannot confirm a Calgary venue, but it looks somewhat promising that we may confirm a new venue in Calgary in the next couple of weeks.
As soon as any new venue is confirmed, it will be announced here.
I would imagine if they get it you could expect maybe 4 or 5 events here
The membership pays for itself in about 3 or 4 events compared to paying for it as a guest, it not a bad deal.

They are saying they need people to fill certain roles to go ahead with the Calgary events right now.
I think they want to run 5 events here in Calgary, if you guys have any time to volunteer it might go a long way to helping our cause.
I know I am not really planning to drive all the way out to Lethbridge, would be nice if the Calgary stuff comes through.

I am considering capping the entry to our event this year esp. in Calgary for better control of the events. Therefore volunteers with a dedicated position will always have a spot reserved for them. I think that at the very least fair to the helpers. Less people => more runs too.
Last time I volunteered I helped out with the safety tech inspections, I also spent a few minutes afterwards helping clean up the cones. Is pretty simple stuff, but it goes a long way to helping get the events setup and started, plus you get to know some of the more experienced guys while you are at it.

it is pretty steep for price, but they are having some good instructors come to Calgary to teach the course. I really want to get started off right this year.

I am sure the series I want to participate in will rape my wallet good so I can't afford both plus tires, an alignement, a new gauge cluster (like the one in my living room right now) and possibly a front lip and camber kits front and back :P
