lol wow seems like I got lucky! I checked out another Honda dealership before I took delivery of my VBP Fit to see all of the colours, they had a Storm Silver Metallic and even a Blaze Orange Metallic with no names on them...

Purchase methods were different I guess. I looked for the best deal around, regardless of delivery date (admittedly, it's not much)
If you looked around to what was in stock, I'm sure you could have gotten one sooner.

ya it would be nice to be able to shop around! if the next closest dealer was not 300km away. The dealer here had a blaze orange.

the salesman wasn't there so I couldn't ask him.

I jsut ordered mine yesterday ... the saleman hasn't called me back regarding for the expectation date yet. What's the average waiting days for Calgary area?

if you aren't picky and said the first available one, I'm sure they'll get you on quick. however like myself, I asked for a blue sport and the dealership was fresh out of allocations, had to wait til this month

I originally chose Milano Red at Crowfoot Honda because that was the only colour I saw and I liked it. But they said there was a Blue Sport with the specs I wanted, and that they would put my name on it first, pending if I liked the colour. If I didn't I could wait. When it came in, totally fell in love with the VBP, and took it right away! Like kennyt said, it's how picky you are and how lucky you get.
If you are in the NW, I highly suggest going to Crowfoot Honda and to deal with Lee. He is a great salesman, the GM there is not pushy at all. Service there in general is excellent! If you do decide to go there, tell Lee that Justin with the Blue Fit sent you!

I just got a call from the dealer and my Fit is in!!!! FINALLY
Hopefully I can get my paperwork squared away and pick it up on Saturday June 3!
wow... what a wait.

Congratulations kennyt!!!!! I actually went to my dealership today and asked if there were any 07 Fit Sport in MT, and he said there was none to be had...glad to hear yours finally came in. We should get together for a meet on Saturday if that is your pickup date, I'll be in the NE anyways since I gotta work as well...
On another good note, I GET MY RIMS TOMORROW YAAAAA!!!

Yeah I haven't seen Robert since Winter semester ended...he's probably busy with ENGG349 haha...
For rims, I got Enkei RS7's...light and has a dark finish...I opted for the anthracite finish. Size is 17x7 with +42 offset. For rubber I went with Kumho SPT's with dimensions of 205/40/17. Oh man I can't wait for tomorrow morning!
