I'm still alive.. and things have definitely changed!

Hey everyone.. i'm still here, well sort of lol. I went from the fit forums, to the g35 forums, and now to the GM trucks/Tahoe forums lol..

Looks like I've gotta sell the G35 its a sad sad day for this car guy. But the wife and I are expecting our first and well... needless to say, a 2 door coupe doesn't cut it when you have a baby.

If you know anyone that is looking for a pearl white g35 6 speed coupe I've got one for sale any help I can get to sell this in preparation for the baby would be really appreciated!

Thanks guys! Its getting a bit nerve racking lately now that we're getting closer to the due date. And with my company not doing well its even more stressful as we go through layoffs these next few months.

I know I know.. the Tahoe is a major gas guzzler, but I couldn't pass up the deal. It was originally my parents vehicle, then my sister bought it, and now I have it..

2001 with 200,000kms in mint condition (all highway), 4x4, loaded with everything but leather. i got it for $2500 bux!

BTW, my G is still for sale if you guys know anyone lol.. the interest has now picked up a lot tho since spring is on its way.

Pretty exciting time for you Adam!

I think things in the industry are really starting to ramp up, my bet is in about 2 months time it is going to be a mad grab for staff and things will be back to normal We actually just got awarded a project with over 20,000 man hours just for our department alone, things are really starting to turn around.

Nice buy on the truck too btw, that is an excellent price!

Yeah another meet would be good! I lifted the Hummer, threw on 35" tires and slapped on a crazy ass bumper.... lol, it is the exact opposite of a Fit now!

lol man, so much for not modding for a while

Working on an Altima next weekend so it might have to be the following week.

I have a CRX in the garage right now that is missing its whole front suspension assembly on the driver's side so have to take care of that first :P

The guy came in complaining about grinding and knocking noises and when I lifted the car off the ground the wheel almost fell off since the bearing broke in 2 pieces and it was only held together by the axle nut...

Adam you will figure it out man, I know the first little one is stressful but just take it one day at a time, always try to do your best for your child and everything will just work out. You're a grounded guy you'll figure it out and if you have any questions I'm the the family can help

Thanks ET... I'm sure it will be an adventure for sure.. I sold the G35 on Monday to a 21 year old hottie! She's gonna be a heartbreaker lol

I've already been looking at a new ride for 2011 when the wife goes back to work.

I'm thinking 2011 Audi A4 Avant Sportline.. but depending on the cost after I option it up, the S4 sedan might be a possibility

The wife feels bad that I had to sell the G, so she said once we're back on our feet next year, we have my budget set for a new car around $50k... ahhh i love car shopping!

I ended up getting 23,500. A really easy sale too which is nice. I bought the car for 25k so I really didn't lose much over the past year.

Ya, i totally went web crazy yesterday seeing whats out there and whats new... I was set on either a WRX or a Legacy 2.5GT but I think the Audi A4 is a fair bit nicer for only a few grand more.

^^ Check out Audi's supplier list too, you get an automatic 7% discount on most cars (not the R8 though... I asked, lol) and also 4 years of free service if you work for a qualifying company.

I was actually surprised to find out my wife qualifies for that program, totally sets the stage for my next car. There are literally hundreds of companies on the list.
