Okay guys, I just got into town this evening 3PM PST. And after walking around downtown (where my temp apartment is) here is my report.
Modded cars downtown: Saw one blue ECHO with rims and a hood deflector, saw one EG civic dropped with rims which was in rough shape ... it had some skunk 2 decals, then I saw a WHITE HUMMER 2 with 4 white dudes blasting french hip hop going down "St Catherine's" which is the equivalent of Robson except its way bigger and cooler.
I also saw a like 5th gen accord with CHROME rims blasting some music and some jetta or something on CHROME rims blasting some music.
I HAVE NOT SEEN/HEARD ANY LOUD MUFFLERS HERE!! I can't wait to spoon this town LMAO.
My car should be here in a week or two. THe taxi driver was telling me that an excessive speeding ticket in this town can run you 900 bucks and 10 points .
Also: I DIDN'T SEE ONE FIT ON THE RIDE FROM THE AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN NOR WHEN I SPENT 2 HOURS LURKING AROUND DOWNTOWN.
Weather is same as Vancouver, honestly its EXACTELY the same so far, not too hot but nice and warm, and there always seems to be a nice breeze through the city.
DAY TWO: STILL NO HARDCORE MODDED CARS. I saw a few base silver fits though! The saw some riced (frenched) out mazdaspeed 6 with a big MAZDASPEED banner on the windshield and some graphics on the side. A lot of the cars look beat down actually, I think they get worked in the winter :P I'm glad to see that there is small cars (yaris,fit,aveo) in town that means maybe my fit will actually be drivable in the winter if I throw some steelies and winter tires on.
The french girls are HOT!!! Sure there's an even number of pudgy ones but the good looking ones are GOOD LOOKIN!!! Rick not yet, I've been out with some friends at the smaller bars and clubs and have not gotten crazy yet!!!
I saw 7 ferrari's cruising downtown montreal on saturday around midnight that was crazy. Some chick getting on her bike wearing a dress and no panties flashed me, and people in this town eat horse meat.
still waiting on my fit to arrive. gonna rent out a real pimp loft apartment for 900 a month too (which includes a parking spot and all appliances and washing machine in suite)

I've had my fair share of poutine and Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwiches .
I just got my car this morning, what a sight for sore eyes! But it had a dead battery haha. I attribute that it wasn't run for about 3 weeks and I think the alarm + voltage stabilizer sapped the battery during that time. The guys at the freight yard were like "u got some bling under there" when i popped the hood LOL.
Anyways i managed to get it to work, I hope it starts up after work
Also my cargo cover is busted. What the ****!! I don't know why/how the shippers would even have touched it but its all limp now. This is depressing because I have 2 LED strips attached to it. Might just leave it floppy lol.
