Pasadena, CA - Can't recommend. They're just gouging prices as much as they can get away with. Went to look at Fits - salesman said they only had one 5-speed on the lot, and it wasn't a color I wanted. Test drove it, then when we got back, he "just happened" to find another one in my color. So I test drove that one as well, but first said I didn't want to pay over MSRP, so please don't waste my time if you're not going to sell it at that price. He said "I think we can do that". Got back from 2nd test drive, and he immediately handed me off to the "floor manager" (good cop/bad cop routine). Insists on $1,000 over sticker. Gave me a bunch of b.s. about "limited production" and "we'll just sell it to someone else if you don't buy it". Refused to budge on price. Said, "You WILL pay over sticker price; either from us or from someone else." I admonished him for wasting my time and left. Found the same car for $200 UNDER sticker price with Glendale Honda internet sales dept. Don't go to Pasadena Honda; they will just lie to you and jerk you around.

 

What a goon, MSRP is more then fair for the fit, and if you look around you can get it for MSRP or below in California from what I've read.

 

I completely agree - stay away from Pasadena Honda. Had worked with a salesman for 3 weeks and finally got to the price point that I was shooting for. I drove 50 miles along with my family and after getting there, the price gets jacked up +$300. I was obviously outraged they were backing down on what was agreed upon so I walked so essentially they lost a sale over a few hundred dollars! For the record, I was paying straight up cash for the car in question.
