Lute Riley Honda, Richardson, TX
Just got finished working a deal at Lute Riley Honda in Richardson, Texas.
Overall, I would give them a "fair" rating. But of course the potential Fit buyer MUST be aware of the typical mark-ups on the Fit.
Their first "deal" involved the $15,905 principal plus $3000 in dealer fluffiness including charging $495 for the rear bumper applique and similar ridiculous prices for "Protection Package" "Pinstriping" and "$100 for "Wheel Locks" (which can be had at the parts store for $18) bringing the first total to ~$18725. Oh brother. What a DEAL!
Gotta expect this kinda lunacy though with the tiny margins on the Fit.
They finally agreed to the $15905 principal with no fluff, but then could not agree on a fair trade-in value (coming in some ~$1500-2500) below the oft-worshipped Blackbook trade value. Had they done it, I'd be driving home in a pretty new Fit Sport. Oh well...on to the next deal.
