Thumbs down Bill Gatton Honda - Bristol, TN

I'm in VA right now with my family, they were looking at a 2009 Honda Fit Sport, Red, with 30 miles on it, I was talking them up on it, as they are looking to trade in. It took the dealer four + hours to give them a crappy deal, $430 a month, with $400 down, and 11.9% interest rate, I know they have better credit than that, so WTF? If you live in this area, don't even give them the time of day. Unless you like to be on the receiving end of Highway Robbery. This offer was egregious, only a fool would accept it.

Noticed no one had replied to your post. You can submit your information to most dealers before you ever get to the dealership so you don't have to wait for an approval, I bet you were there on a Saturday when all of the banks are closed as well...
Did your parents owe anything on the trade(negative equity)? 435 doesn't sound that bad on a fit sport with only 400 down, where did you end up buying one?

Yes all information was sent ahead, way before we went, and they gave us a price around $370 a month, 8% interest, and no money down. This much was common sense. Welcome to this site.

Your a little defensive for someone who wasn't even buying a car. It was for your parents right? You didn't answer my questions...negative equity? were you there on a saturday? Had the dealer seen your trade? so they had 100% of all the info?
