Does anyone in Ontario have any news as to when first Fits can leave the dealerships?

I see from the forum that a few Fits have arrived at Toronto dealerships but no news as to when they will hit the streets.

Last I heard, my orange sport Fit was expected any time now, at the very latest I should have it by next monday, april 3.

 

I believe that April 3 is when the first cars will actually leave dealerships in Canada.

 

I visited a closed Honda dealer in Wpg. to see if I could spot one around.
I asked a car jock who was cleaning and parking lot cars and his answer, with a grin was "April 3rd." to all my questions.
I knew he knew more than he would admit, but he had to tow the co. line.
They are probably lots of them on car carriers and trains heading east, almost like spotting the first Robin.

What dealer? I was at Winnipeg Honda lastnight. No Fits to be seen.

 

Maybe there is a very hard-nosed area general manager for Honda.

I went to Birchwood West and I phoned Steinbach today and they also say April 3. And that the salesmen get their intro on the 13th.

 

On Friday, March 24, I received a phone call from a sales guy at the North Vancouver Honda to tell me that a Fit just rolled off of the truck. Later that day, I went down and "pawed" my way through the car. After much prodding, I was able to take it out for a drive, a very short drive around the block, but a drive none the less. I really liked the car, it felt like a gokart as it handled quite well. The price is about $1500 more than I was expecting, the fuel economy is disappointing, (48 mpg vs. civic's 50) and the driver seat cannot be height adjusted. I am trying to decide if I should wait for the next generation Fit. Any word on when that will be?

 

i was @ a honda dealer in vancouver, earlier & saw a silver fit sport that was sold already ($22105 + $100 air + tax). the sales manager told me there'll be a black sport coming tomorrow & he told me to drop by to have a test drive. he said the black one isn't sold yet & is available to me if i want it. the financing rate is just normal @ 6.9% & 7.9% for leasing. he said i can buy the fit tomorrow so there's no need to wait till april.

 

does anyone know if there will be a fit in local toronto area by april 3rd.....honda sisley, roadsport..???
