Got a Fit in Cali... TODAY! (4-19)

10% is about right for California tax + license so if the car is sold at MSRP without any added dealer fee's, depending on what drivetrain you choose, MT or AT, all similar drivetrain Fit's as long as your comparing base model's with base and Sports with Sports should be arond the same price.

sorry guys...fit's out my price range. went to 3 different honda dealers today...each sport i saw had anywhere from 2000-3000 in dealer markup, so after destination fee, 10% taxes and license, the 109hp sport fit comes out to almost $22,000. guess im moving onto the corolla...at about 17g after fees and taxes...too bad too since i really liked those magic seats

Just bought ours at sticker plus accessories
Just bought ours at sticker 14400 (including destination fees) and another 1K for the fog lights, remote keyless entry, mud flaps etc which they twinked it out with. We were going to order ours for a later delivery...but just like Toyota with the Yaris, the manual transmissions are done for the year and they've retooled completely to automatic trannies in the base model.
So if you want manual, wait for fall, or get yours now. Don't know about the sport model though. I assume the same problem will exist. Ours was off the lot twice in the time it took us to fill out the paper work the sport model had five test drives in the same time (125 miles logged on the odemeter). The dealership had taken orders for 5 automatic trannies that day. No one was biting on the manual trannies til we waltzed in.
Best think I can say is....no mark up.
I also noted that they had something like 25 Honda Elements on the lot looking all lonely and unloved. *snicker*

Well I'm glad you got one. And glad you didn't pay any mark-up!
Peace
