Since Weapon R's customer service seems to be useless I'll respond.
On another forum someone mad a thread asking is there such a thing as to much bracing in a car and if it would make the car overly stiff. I'm just gonna copy and paste my reply. (Slightly off topic but it all ties together.
"No it can not be to stiff. Your thinking of this all wrong... all the bracing in the world will NOT make the suspension stiffer. You want absolutely no flex what-so-ever in the chasis. The stiffer the better, the stiffer it is the more it lets the suspension do what its designed to do. You want the suspension to do its job of keeping the tires in contact with the road and nothign else. Suspension can only do so much, there is a limit, if your using some of its ability to make up for the chasis flexing your taking away some of its ability to keep the tires firmly planted.
In terms of suspension yes there definetly such a thing as to stiff. But in the chassis you can never have it to stiff, no flex is ideal. The stiffer it is the more responsive it will be, quicker reacting to steering inputs, more road feel all the time, easier to control through corners, even less violent over bumps. There is no down side other then the little bit of extra weight required for all the bracing."
Their trunk cage is designed to brace the whole rear of the vehicle.
