This is an introductory offer for my first carbon rear garnish with the logo and wiper hole eliminated (see thread under gauge interest). This part is a modified OEM part covered in plain weave carbon which matches most carbon hoods and wings offered for the FIT. The price for this first part is $75.00 including mailing within the US. It is required that you send back your OEM part as a core, and for this price I would like to ask for a couple photos of the part installed for future promotion. I thought there may be more interest in this item but no takers yet so I reduced the price a little. Once this first piece is gone I'll probably just keep this as custom work like the fog housings and move on with the gauge hoods.
Can i ger some more shots of the weave like closeups? is it 1x1 or 2x2? is it clear coated for protection? I'm very interested!
This one is 1x1, resin has UV stablizers and the part is clear coated with 2 part auto clear, also UV stable.
I only have a couple pics for now but can take more. I'm hoping to get a couple of the part installed.

Thanks, I've got a silver and red/black ones spoken for first but I'll mark you down for 2x2 twill.
i would take one of these as a 2x2 weave with the wiper hole too if possible.
Sounds good. I started with the 1x1 because I thought it would match most of the hoods and hatches I have seen, but it looks like I should have started with 2x2.
i have the spoon wing an its 2x2 and i like it better than the 1x1 weave so i want to keep the theme.
Seibon uses 1x1 weave, but Carbon creations (my hood) and VIS and most other replica companies use 2x2 because it's easier to obtain and cheaper and it's much more common in other marks. It's not too popular with the honda fit because most people that have carbon fiber parts own seibon stuff that all have a 1x1 weave.
Well I think I'll take one more shot at selling this piece and if no takers I'll move on to the 2x2 and carbon/kevlar parts that have been requested.
Someone may know a better source for these parts but I have found a price of around $70.00 for a new plastic piece online.
So I'll take $120.00 for this one outright or $60.00 plus an undamaged piece off your car.

As soon as I get the core in I'll start on the next. So far it looks like there is interest in 2 red/black carbon kevlar and 3 2x2 twill.
