Replacement Key

Replacement Key
Can anyone shed any light on getting a key made for my 08 Fit EX? I haven't had any luck with US Honda, and Honda Mexico has been difficult to get answers from although I was able to get my key code from them. I just have only one key and would like an extra.

Honda Dealer or locksmith
I know this thread is old, but it's unanswered, and I could have used this information a couple days ago. Hopefully the next person gets some help from it!
My dealer wanted $110 + labor for a key with no remote lock/unlock/panic. Carl Jarl locksmith was able to do it (including the reprogram) for $100. Honda gave me a $193 + labor estimate for the fully functional remote key, and Carl Jarl's estimate was $175 total.
I found them at Find a local Automotive Locksmith - Autolocksmithfinder.com ...website is slow and a bit weird, but IT WORKED. 5 minutes there were better spent than dropping my car off at the dealer only to be given a higher quote and told "we don't have the part in stock" later that day.
Call first, to be sure your locksmith can do the reprogram. It's been stated before, but it bears repeating: all keys must be present in order to program a new key. I've read in one other thread that you can add keys without the others present, but the important thing is: *no one seems to know how to do that. Bring all your keys*
