Actually 2 hours is not bad!!! It is worth for this meet...........u know what, if everybody attend to the meet this will be the best one that we did from the beginning. So, come join us........plz!!!
Awesome, so i guess you guys can count me in, also the girlfriend wants to come to see all the Fits :-p. I told her there might be a BBQ and she was down. For a 90 lb girl she sure loves burgers.
great news Matt! If we are BBQ'ing we will try and meet a little earlier than 1pm and go shopping at the stop-n-shop to get the goods. I'll bring a grill.
If weather is not conducive to a BBQ we'll still meet but cruise and get some grub.
If anyone wants me to wire up their fog lights to work independant let me know. The cost is $10 for parts (add a circuit and connectors from local auto parts store).
Let me know in advance as the date gets closer and i will pick up the parts and you can pay me when i see ya. Only takes about 15 minutes.
Or even better you can pick up the part at your local auto parts store. It is called "Add-a-Circuit" or "Add-a-Line" for mini fuses. Here's a pic (costs about 8 dollars). I have some male/female connectors but depending on how many people want me to do it i might run out. This is a really simple mod and will allow your fogs to work completely independent from the headlights.
Edit: except for when the high beams are on. That is a separate mod (which is also easy). This mod will allow them to be on by themselves, with parking lights, or low-beams.
Edit again: You might also have to pick up a pack of 10A mini fuses if the "Add-a-Circuit" does not come with them.
Hey Leonine/Brian,
I am interested in the fog light wiring. Is it too late for you to pick up the parts for me this sunday? Sorry about that. I am a late entry. I am def. excited to meet everyone.
This is turning into a regular old swap meet! People helping one another, swapping parts, seeing new stuff! Now how's about an idea of where we are going to roll? I was thinking about Fort Totten Near the Bridge it has a little park / parking lot and we could take some pictures with the cars and the bridge in the background? Just a thought? And it's only a stones throw away from the meeting place?
Afterwards, I was thinking of going to this burger joint in College point. "Five Guys Famous burgers and fries" Pretty good, and affordable.
i'm up for anything. We might have to make a pit stop at a local auto parts store to pick up some parts for the DIY fog light rewiring. Are there any in the area where we are meeting?
The weather for this weekend so far looks great. Mostly sunny and close to 60. Let me know if we are going to BBQ or eat somewhere so i know whether to bring my grill or not. Either way its cool with me.
