da 120 mark

i need help on this one guys....i have a 2008 fit with dc sport catback exhaust injen intake and a dc header. i was on my way to the panamerican in atco n.j. race track. so on my way out there caught beef on the n.j. turnpike. lol with a audi tt i was doing good on the in and out of traffic moves. but guess what on the straight away u know he had me. but what pissed me off was the fact that the car maxed out at 120mph and the clock says 140. i basicly got played anybody know what i can do to take out the governor on the car. i was looking into hondata ecu but they didnt have one for the honda fit. help please lol will post pics of the purple haze....

1. No street racing discussions

2. You want to remove the top speed governor on the Fit? Why? It's not gonna make your Fit any faster. I'm more surprised that you actually got to 120. Must have taken forever! I tried to touch 100 one day, just for the hell of it, and that took forever!

da 120 mark

well i hit 100mph on the reg. what you have auto or stick? i have stick its not a problem getting it up it the open road u need. it was pinging at 120 that really sucks. i really wanna take it of cause i hate when it pushes me back at when i get too the redline marker...

Soichiro's boys set the rev limiter where it is for a reason. Not just so people in sports cars can embarrass you. If you want to go 140 with a 1.5l buy a motorcycle.
