Anyone want to get in on a NY/NJ/CT/PA Honda Fit Club?
I'm thinking about starting up a Honda Fit car club very similar to my friends Infinity G35 Club....
It's a great way to meet up with other local Honda FIT owners, make new friends, show off any mods and neat tricks done to your cars, help install stuff, and put a face next to that internet name.
It's all in the name of having fun, networking with new people, take some pics, maybe do some bar-B-Q'ing and a few drinks, beach, check out a Mets/Yankees/Jets/Giants game, etc....
Everyone is welcome, come correct(no idiots) or I can always arrest, summons, and/or tow your @ss myself!
Any interest folks? Ideas are always welcome, just throw it up on this post.
I live out on Long Island but can meet up just about anywhere within reason.

You can see how we organize the meets, how we get sponsors and advertise for them, our raffles, food and how we run our G lines from other rally points in NY, NJ, PA and CT. This one doesnt look like a huge turnout right now, so it may be ideal for you guys to come on down.
June 11th at Sunken Meadow State Park for the 1st "Official/Unofficial NY/NJ/CT Honda Fit Meet"
For those of you that don't know Sunken Meadow State Park is on the North Shore of Long Island in Suffolk County...about 40 - 45 minutes EAST of Queens, NY. There is an admission fee to get into the park - $8.00(?) unless you have an Empire State Park Passport Sticker on your car($59.00/year - unlimited access to all NYS Parks...I hit the beach ALOT!)

I hope to see you before then but just in case you guys didn't know, Roger can hook your car up with HID's among other things....PM him on what he can Fit into your Fit!!!
Sounds good! Ok guys, here's the deal, check in with Vance or myself (Greg) when we get there and we'll check off that you've brought food so you can EAT. So its kinda important that you check in. If you don't know that you can come yet, that's cool, just bring the $5 for food and you'll eat.
Since we're not a Fit club, there probably won't be much to raffle in the way of parts for you guys, but if you get some sponsors together quickly, you may pull something off. We do have some non G35 related car cleaning supplies, so you can always jump into the raffle for that. If you win a G35 part, you can always trade it with one of our guys for a raffle item they won.
Wave (Ray) will be organizing this for you folks, so keep in touch with him.
Food we'll need is posted on the other thread. Let me know what items you can bring.

I may be able to hit up a few meets. Im originally from rockville centre so I know my way around the island pretty well. Im upstate a bit now, but hey, I can travel for fun.
Look a few posts up to my friend Balzac72's entry. Since we're just getting started we're going to tag along with his Infinity G35 group since I'm guessing our Honda Fit turnout will be small until the car gains more popularity.

I would like to come to see other Fit owner in NY. I'm living in Long Island, I think is not far to go there..............but............I have to work on June 11th. I hope I can go for next meeting.

Just suggestions!! I mean you are in Valley Stream, and so close you can do that! Soe people may have to drvie for hours to get there and definately can not go to work even for a bit!
