In need of borrowing a local Fit owner

Hey guys,

Hopefully I am allowed to post here as I only need one Fit to do a quick test on. I need a first gen, 2007-2008, model where I can try out this retrofit that I have been working on. It will be a quick install and uninstall. I'm trying out a new device to see if I can somehow cut down costs of retrofitting and then hopefully being able to be one of your sponsors and offer some great prices. This will involve having to remove the bumper and quickly installing one headlight for testing. The time will have to be right before sundown so I can inspect the level of cutoff line. So if anyone is interested, let me know with your email address or pm me and I will get back to you asap. Hoping to get something going within the next week or two. The person that decides to help out will get a crazy deal, but that will be discussed later once everything goes though. Thanks.

-Rich

Interesting. 80 views and not one person locally wants to volunteer? No one is interested in a HID projector retrofit at all, or at least wanting a setup for real cheap?

You're asking someone to let a stranger take apart their car and reassemble it in the dark.

I would think an "I will make it worth your while." is in order. You do stand to make a buck, correct?

Thanks for the offer. And also no problem because we plan to do something for your model as well that may help reduce the overall cost of retrofitting if things go well.

Sorry, but I think you may be misunderstanding what I am asking for. I'm not asking to borrow their vehicle, but much rather have the owner there with me while doing so. Like I said, it will be a quick install and uninstall. I just have to make sure what I am doing is leveled on a vehicle because once I can get that right, then I know it will always be right from then after. And when does NYC ever get dark? lol. Unless you mean the back ally somewhere, which I don't plan to go myself. Never know what's crawling in the shadows and ready to get ya. Anyways, if anyone would like to volunteer, it would definitely be out in the open in a parking light with lights all around. This way I won't be doing the entire install in the dark. And in those dark corners of hidden screws, no worries, I got my trusty iPhone to back me up.

Sorry, I thought that the sentence, "The person that decides to help out will get a crazy deal, but that will be discussed later once everything goes though" basically was put together well enough that people would understand? Maybe I'm wrong, but definitely, I will make it worth your while or to whoever that plans to help. And no, I do not plan to make a buck off of this. If anything, I will probably end up losing more on my end, but gaining the trust on this forum if things go well. So why would I decide to lose out on my end? Simple... what would be the difference if I was to rent a car vs. just borrowing and losing on my end anyways? Either way, I would lose, but at least whoever helps out will be the one that may be able to testify for me? I hope, I hope?? ray:

Trust me, just check out this forum and see the other good results I have done for others. My main focus is just to figure out if there is anything I can do to help cut down on cost for not only myself, but for all of you.
