Wink Be one of the first to test drive the Smart car...

Maybe this is heresy on the Fit forum but...

My buddy has a 1979 Mini Cooper and is in love with small cars. He is all psyched because apparently, you can put a refundable $50 deposit on a Smart car and be one of the first to test drive one. You can then get your money back if you don't want it. Here's their site...

smart USA - open your mind to the car that challenges the status quo

I for one won't do it--it'd be like cheating on my Fit. Then I'd have to buy her flowers and a cold air intake to make up with her... ... hey that cold air intake sounds like a good idea... Hmmm

I just thought someone might be interested.

IT drives like crap!! The short wheelbase makes the ride quality equivalent to a Lotus Elise!! The only good thing about it, is that it takes about $20 to fill up.

Most people don't really know what a "hemi" engine means.

Anyways, since I came from Audi/VWs, here's a clip of a VW Polo with a GSX-R engine from the netherlands, also has a Mini Cooper with a ZZR1100. both converted to RWD:

Both cars were built and designed for drifting. Here are photo galleries of the build:

Including Chrysler, as the current "Hemi" is not even a true Hemi.

Sue for false advertising? Dunno.....

Thanks for posting the video, the Dutch do some interesting things from time to time.
