Joyride Turns Tragic for Three Teens in Queens
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police say a car traveling at high speed in Rockaway, Queens, slammed into a concrete pillar and burst into flames, injuring the three teenage occupants.

Police said the teens were joyriding when their car went out of control under the elevated A subway line at the intersection of Rockaway Freeway and Beach 101st Street just after 8:30 a.m.
Police said the 2007 Honda was reported stolen Tuesday.
Witnesses said the car crashed into one of the columns supporting the elevated line and exploded in flames.
The driver of the car is in stable condition with burns all over his body.
The front passenger is listed in critical condition at Peninsula Hospital with numerous burns.
The third passenger, who was sitting in the back seat, has a broken leg and is being treated at Jamaica Hospital.
At least one of the teens attends Beach Channel High School located down the block from the accident scene.
