im not sure if the 1000 posts thing works out either =/. zangoose has over 1000 posts last time i checked but he's still at 0 rep points. i hit my 1 year aniversary tommorow so i'll see if i get a visibile point for that.
You have to consider negative reps though, which may hinder things. I dont know if he had one or not (nor am I suggesting he did, its just something to keep in mind since we dont know the full story on negative reps)
You probably will get a new rep as I have seen it happen to other members who have been here a while. Do tell if you do. eeerrr actually we will find out
In other words you dont like the idea of lowering it to 30 correct? You are one of the main contributers to this thread and i dont think it would be right to have a decision made without some type of input from you. I threw out 30 but if others believe that is to low then we can all make it higher. I was hoping that a bunch of people would jump in on this but i dont think its gonna happen. Let me know what input you have and we can go from there. Thanks bro.

i think 30 is a fine number, but then again it may again seem to easy to obtain or whatever considering the old minimum was 100. I say 35-40 invisible is a good amount.
I actually dont know how much good a poll would do, cause like you said 30 is too little, 50 could be too much. 40 sounds just about right, ill wait untill tomorrow to contact a admin about making the change, just to make sure 40 is what we want to do.

40 sounds great to me. Anyone else agree or disagree?

Forgive me, I havent looked at all the pages in this thread. What do grey boxes mean? I checked my rep just now, I rarely do. I have a few grey boxes.
Is that negative rep? Are people not noticing that theyre passing neg rep to me? Their response are nice and it seems that they were trying to pass positive rep.
And then of course I have green boxes.
EDIT.
Green = visible
Grey = invisible
That it? I have 29 listed points. Most that I see are grey boxes. Im at 4 as you can tell. I want 5!!!!!
Errrr... What Joshua said below.

Green means that they have reputation and repped you. Grey means that they do not have any rep but still repped you. Red is if you received a negative rep. In other words grey is typically a new guy and isnt a bad thing they just dont have any rep themselves. Your good bro. haha

Ohh ok. Hotsauce. Thanks Joshua.
Need to re-edit the post above you.
I must be doing something wrong as I can't seem to find anything about Rep Points in my User CP!!
In your user CP its at the bottom of the page under the latest threads that you have subscribed too. It may have gotten minimized by accident. At the right hand corner of the gray bar "latest reputation received" click the + and it should come back. If not give me a shout and i will walk you through it.
"Edit" Thanks for the Rep Ray!!!

Funny, i don't have that on my user cp. Here's what it looks like:
Thats what it should look like? Very starnge, maybe your settings are changed.
Its also weird that your not subscribed to any threads. It has something to do with settings. Im pretty sure about that.
Yeah, I did scroll down and there's nothing there....
weird...
Thats really weird. I looked through all the menu options and it doesnt appear that you can remove it or make it disapear like that. You may need to send a PM to admin and see if they know anything about it. Did you ever have it?

well, at least i got my answer to what i originally asked for. I see that many members (like me) bother to give rep points, and wish to understand such function.
Thanks to all who have contributed.
