Making a signature picture?

How do I shrink a picture to make into a signature here? The pic that's on my sig now is old and before any mods, and someone made it for me. Is there a quick and easy way to do this? What program is used? MS Paint?

You can use MS Paint if you want to spend 9000 hours doing it.

I can do it... Depending on the pic. Is the pic a longer shot? Or close up.
I can still do it if its a close up, but Ill have to resize it rather small.

Sigs take me at the longest, 5min. And I make them look good with sharpening, hue adjustments, shading, all that and a bag of chips.

You want chips?

Okay I'm back from sea and I have some new pics, one of which I want as a sig please if someone can find time to help a brotha out

for a 10MP camera, it sure seems a bit crappy lol

man I love my foglights! I think the 1st or 2nd pics would make better sigs than the 3rd...hmmm? !!!

okay here it is:

first i had to clone stamp the bottom left hand corner so i could make the picture wider (better for a sig pic)
then i duplicated just the car
messed with levels to make the car look better and then made the grass greener
then did the font on overlay and just put a stroke on it.
then of course the border
and that is just about it i think

I'm not a big fan of huge multi-pixel black borders; I think one pixel all around looks the best.

I was messin' with mikow's sexy-ass pictures from the day he got his Fit and made this a week or so ago.
