Been busy adding to the fleet!

So last night we finally picked up the 09 LX-S Civic Sedan in Polished Metal Metallic. My girl said she was gonna drive my fit today so I could mess with the car a lil bit. My boy got the car for us in like 2 hours from another dealer, and we did the whole cash for clunkers thing and got rid of the Lexus LS400(1990). So for a car with a 20k sticker and no down payment, she's only financing like 14k. He gave it to us for basically minimum dealer holdback, no haggling. And we get in the car and it already has floormats and wheel locks and shit, which we didn't get charged for.

Plus, when we went to pick it up, the price of the car dropped $350, and we got $1000 cashback. It almost feels like stealing the car. And then we go to drink at my buddy's house after picking it up, and dude that sold it to us is his next door neighbor I have known the dude for years, and I knew cost of car, and what spiffs were going on, so I told him just get the car and you have a $150 spin and your mini-deal. Total time at the dealer at time of pickup for paperwork was like 5 minutes.

And I knew we were getting the car ahead of time, so I ordered digital HID slim ballasts for 45bucks, and they came yesterday, now I'm just waiting on the relay harnesses for the HIDs. And since it uses 9006/9005, I am using my hyperwhite high beams and old 6000K hid bulbs from my OEM and Blackhousing Accord Headlamps, so minimal new mod purchases needed. It already has the earliest appointment date for tint on Monday, so it's off to a good start. Then once we get the OEM visors for the windows and drop it the car should be in really nice shape Now just gotta get a few pictures of what it looks like stock once my girl gets back from work, and I will get them posted up.

Sexay. Talking about the pizza. The car's nice too.

I gave the Civic a long hard look when I was shopping the Fit, but I wanted the utility of the big storage area. I have enough 4-door sedans already so that was out. If the coupe came in a hatch I probably would have bought it.

My wife wants to do a clunker trade, but she wants to add another Subaru to our fleet. A Forester! I'd like to talk her into getting the turbo but I think that will be nearly impossible given how cheap she is at the gas station.

She wanted white, but got gunmetal since I pretty much bought the fit so she would have somethin to drive. I washed my fit and accord and RR and posted up some pics in my older thread

My fit will be getting a huge Vacation!
