Snapped a rod today

Well it was bound to happen. They don't build these things to be super sturdy to begin with. At least they are cheap!

Especially when you put this kind of a load on em!


Went back out and almost did it again with a bigger one!

I was about to ask how many pounds of boost were you running....

so how many pounds "of boost" was the fish running?

Lol, the smaller bass was about 3.5lbs, and the bigger guy was just a hair over 5.

This guy weighed about 10lbs and fortunately northern pike of any size are legal here so we had a nice fish fry


Entered a musky tournament for tomorrow so hopefully I'll see some fish considerably bigger than that.

It takes some balls when you realize that snakes and snappers like to chill in those holes too. After a few beers you quit caring. Just remember, some of those catfish get big enough to eff you up.
