Any of you guys into model building or collect dicast cars, post them up.
I have been in and out of the hobby for years. Once again now that I have space to work on my models I'm back into it. My company of choice is Tamiya and I like the 1:24th scale cars.
Very nice kits. I have a few kits, non-car related, mostly anime related from the late 80's / late 90's. I'm not very good. My older brother however is a master builder, and his specialty is WWII aircraft. Kinda sad that this is a dying hobby, I have great appreciation for it.

I have a mess of die cast cars and motorcycles as well a a few kits I never get around to assembling... I was heavily into model car kits starting when I was 8 years old until was 14.. There was a hobby shop about a mile and a half from my home that I would walk or ride my bike to that had customized model cars that customers would vote for. At the end of every month a small 1st place trophy was awarded and ribbons given for 2nd and 3rd place....My favorite die cast car is an 18 1/2" long red 59 Cadillac convertible my son picked up while in Amsterdam and carried with him all over the country for months until we hooked up in Las Vegas 12 years ago... He lost a big mess of the cars he had collected along with about everything else including a good credit rating in a divorce.
Used to build jet fighter models... had built a larger scale F/A-18, also a F-16, a few MiG's (29, 23, and some other one one.) also some Su's too. I wanted to have a full collection of the progression of the jet fighters from the Messerschmidt 161/262 variations to todays. My brother was in to the cars, he did the Porshe 944, 911, and a Ferrari or two. Unfortunately, all the models pretty much got mangled when we moved. Always wanted to get back in that hobby though, maybe one day....
That's nice looking.. Now that I have magnifying illuminated glasses, I need to put some of the models I have together... I just need to take all of my knives and guns off of the kitchen table so I'll have room.
