That's probably a good idea, there's no sense in screwing with credit and debt to income ratio's and such, right before getting a mortgage.

I saw a Vivid Blue Fit near Bw3's on Bethel yesterday. I wonder if it could be anyone here?

Lenders are real touchy about that

I picked up my Fit last Tuesday at Hugh White Honda. That's the west side of Columbus on Georgesville Road (right off 270). I had a great experience there, and my salesperson, Greg, was excellent. No pressure.

I went to another local dealer, and had a terrible experience. I won't name names though.

BTW, Roush Honda in Westerville has sold all the Fits they have on order. There was a waiting list through July when I called last week!

Are you getting one of these?

Why would you choose the fit over a Civic, and I am not being a smart ass.

Awww, come on!

At least a hint? Like rhymes with Scarysville. Or "It's all up to you, mmmm kay?" (from South Park the movie)

Yeah... I mean, they wouldn't tell me WHO approved me for the loan, what the percentage was exactly, or anything. They were hot to look at my trade-in, but I wouldn't let them. I found out the name of the bank that approved me and went to Hugh White. They ended up beating it anyway.
Note: My credit isn't very good right now. The Fit is my credit-builder.

Wow, that's shady. A friend of mine went there to test drive a used S2000 and they gave him this huge run around about credit checks first, etc. At the time he was an engineer at Honda Marysville, in one of the motor groups, made good money, but looked about 5 years younger than what he really was. I go over there and the sales guy hands me the keys to the same S2000 and jokingly tells me not to wreck it. wtf?? Then another time I go over there to get pricing on exhaust parts for a civic, and they won't give me any info and tell me to bring the car in. I just wanted to buy parts! I don't think I'll be going back there any time soon.

Have you ever used Phase 2 for repairs?

I had never heard of them until your other post. I'll definitely keep that info on hand.

After a week of thinking about it, I put a deposit on a Silver MT Sport yesterday - won't get it for about 60 days. Hope nothing else falls off my 97 RAV before I trade it in.

Sweet. Good luck with the new Fit.

I thought Toyota's were supposed to be good. Didn't like the RAV?

Oh, I liked the RAV, but it was beginning to cost in repairs. Timing belt, brakes, speedometer rebuild, catalytic converter rusted off, water pump, etc. - but all this was after 100,000+ of fun.

Now, the Honda dealer is MUCH more convenient to home/office. My wife bought an Odyssey there and was treated very well, great service dept. etc....

Yep, Roush. Located on my way to/from work. For a one time fee of $105, I'll have a loaner car available whenever my car is in for a scheduled service - as long as I own it.

My RAV would probably be in better shape now if the Toyota dealership had been more convenient these last 9 years.
