By the picture and on paper this Hyundai seems good.
But don't expect it to be at the same level as the FIT.
The level of design and finish is at the entry level. Reliability is not like the FIT. You don't have alot of people wanting to buy one and you don't have strong resale value. The FIT is Honda's entry level car but it doesn't feel like one.
For those on a budget and who can't wait the Hyundai becomes a viable option.
I once cheaped out and got a Nissan Sentra instead of a Civic and it was the worst car I've ever owned. Never again. Poor performance, unreliable, just cheaply made.

The price is right... or is it?
From about $10,500 to $15,000+$580 destination fee and options
Seems good but read the review for the Hyundai Accent-
http://auto.consumerguide.com/Auto/N.../Act/Roadtest/
Acceleration-
Bordering on weak. 0-60 in 11 sec with the auto transmission
Fuel economy-
Disappointing. 21.8 mpg in Consumer guide's test- they drove aggressively.
Rated at 28/37 mpg for auto transmission
Ride quality-
a little better than average but not that good over large bumps
Steering/handling/braking
Good brakes, average handling, SE version a bit better
Quietness-
Noisy at 4000+ rpm, wind nosie moderate, overall slightly better than average
Controls/materials-
Design OK, overall a little better than average, few padded surfaces
Room/comfort/ Drivers seat
Fairly roomy in front, good visibility
Room/comfort rear
Average, limited access in 2 door, rear headroom less for hatchback
Cargo room
Limited trunk usable space, worse than average storage
Value within class
Above average considering front airbags and side curtain airbags are included. ABS expensive as part of $950 option package or standard in SE model.
Overall-
Average for it's class Score of 51/52 (FIT sport got 53 for AT to 57 for MT)
