I actually live in Washington, but I wanted to post a note to let you know that I read your post about fitfreak.net on the edmunds townhall forums. Your post over there is gone now -- I'm not sure if you deleted it or if it just disappeared.
As far as a club goes, doesn't it seem like there should be a Northwest Club instead of ones for separate states? I live just over the river in Washington and I do a lot of stuff in Oregon. Not that I have much to bring to a club anyway!
There really aren't many of us. I brought my Fit to the Les Schwab on 19th an Lovejoy in NW Portland to get my tires rotated yesterday, and when I said it was a Honda Fit they guy said "Never heard of it, is it a hybrid?". LOL. The funny part was that when I came back to pick up the car, a white Sport with Cali plates was driving out of the parking lot. The guy said it was weird seeing two in the same day.
I've MAYBE seen two dozen other Fits since I got mine at the end of July!
I see them from time to time here in Portland. I saw a white sport like mine with the upgraded honda wheels in Beaverton a couple of months ago. I want to get some wheels for mine. I'm just worried about rubbing and weight.
I am curious what kind of mileage fellow Portlanders are getting with their Fits. I seem to be in the lower end group of people posting mid to low 20's. My best has been 26 and my worst has been 22. I keep watching the odometer hoping to see 300 miles hit but not yet. I spend a mixture on the highway and city. I commute about 15miles to work, 10miles on the highway and about 5 in city driving. I have an automatic sport Blaze Orange. I like the way it drives but wish I was getting better mileage especially with such a small tank. I have almost 4,000 miles on the car. Also I am interested in getting together sometime for the heck of it. Check out the rides.
I'm waiting for mine... Looks like the end of May for delivery. I'm in SW WA., but would be interested in sharing stories / learning w/ the other locals.
Where did you all purchase your Fits?

Hannah didn't have the model that I wanted and Gresham sold the one I asked them to hold for me..

beaverton/aloha/hillsboro fit owner here...stock for now until i get a job but i wanna get maybe a meet going or something....we could always do the 24hr starbucks like eveyrone else does, or sonics which northwestnissans do on thursday
Hopefully you guys have this thread subscribed to so I just wanted to know if any of you guys would be interested in getting your fits tinted? If I can find out who does group deals I have a couple friends already wanting their cars tinted and if I could get you guys in on it it'd be a super big group tint deal. What do you guys think>?
actaully i was looking into getting my windows tinted...i have couple of friends who can hook me up at speed concepts, but i'm not too sure if i want to get it done there instead of other places in town

Cheap and Mediocre? I hope thats based on something real and not just general observations. Race Dezign is where I got my last car tinted, 06 Scion TC, its been 6 months now and its holding up great. Alexia in Beaverton is a really good place I HEAR but its not cheap and have had no experience with them.
I can't get enough cars to go in with me to Race Dezign to make the deal justifiable. 200 per car for 2 fits, price goes down even more if we bring more cars. The guy's name is Davy and I haven't gotten my fit Tinted being the holidays and all.
