I am not asking to sell this car or trading it here. i was just wondering, out of curiosity, if anyone would do such a thing like trading it?

hehe. i see. i was just reading on here and HT. and i saw people getting rid of it, the dealerships trade in was around 11-12k. reason i want to sell my car is because i want something more safe. where i can park on the streets and not worry about it every minute. also, i would like to save gas. gas around my area is getting crazy.

In a nutshell, No. And personally, I wouldn't buy it either. No offense. :)

Sorry man, I wouldn't give up my fit for anything. I like the car to much. Plus what you have done to your civic, I would like to do with my fit. Except I would do a K20/k24 swap fully built all motor and race it not show it. Your car is very clean looking. I really like your wheels. They would look sick on my blue fit. But, I just purchased some new buddy clubs. Can't wait for those.

I used to have an EM1 myself....so IMO nope. I'd just keep my Fit. If that is a hatchback then mayyyyyyyyyybe since it's lighter.
My EM1 weighed 1270kg with full interior, full tank of gas with a SPOON N1 muffler, spare tire & jack outta the car. Compare with a Civic hatchback w/no AC, w/power steering but no other power options & a 96specR motor installed, full interior, 1150kg. Drove it on Pacific Raceway, hatchback rotates sooooooooo much better than coupes. That's one of the reason I bought a Fit.
Been there, done that I guess. My Fit turns better than my EM1 when they both used stock suspension(no springs, tower bar, sway bar upgrades).

gosh why you guys have to be so mean lol... but nah man its a beautiful car and it looks to have everything someone would ever want to put in their whip... but thats the point theres nothing left to do to that car... i bet you parting out and then trading it in could get you alot of that money back

What kinda clutch is it using? ECU? LSD? Roll bars? Need some JDM SPOON/Endless 4pot calipers too.......

What you should do is just keep it since you pretty much devoted your life into getting it where it is now. Its a beautiful car and you will miss it if you sell it or trade it. Just keep that as a show/weekend car and just get a fit then. Or you could just part it out make it stock again and trade it in on a fit. Then you could swap those nice advan's onto the fit as long as the bolt pattern is the same which I beleive it would be. They would look good on any color fit! Good luck with what ever you do!

The fit is perfect. Why give up perfection for great :) I hope I don't come off too strong, but I think you never drove a fit if you think someone would make that deal. Numbers, it looks like it's an even deal. But drive the car. the fit is not just numbers and specs, it's an experience. The fit, "slow' or not, is the most fun you can have driving a 15k car.

Also, that car doesn't come with a key immobilizer... i had a 2000 as well... too bad it got stolen right out from under my nose. Hope you have an amazing alarm system and possibly a brake lock.
Something I DON'T have to worry about with my new fit.

Nope
Im too old to trade for something like that, heck just reading the list of mods was too much for me. I like to keep life and my mods simple these days. Besides, I have an NSX for me speeding needs. My Fit just gets me too and from work. :D
