I think diesels usually have more torque vs. horsepower than regular gas engines.

lol! you mean they have torque at lower rpms, resulting in lower peak hp. torque, hp, and rpms are related! (torque * rpm) / 5252 = hp. yah, small turbo diesels pull hard at low rpms, good mpg... i wish we had some around here...

I meaning more in comparison with the VW TDI's; they have what 177... this has 251! That is really going to be one peppy little car, I want one!!

if they make a light turbodiesel fit, I am gonna be SO there.

I would love a 200lb-ft fit!

Think about how fun that would be! Plus 50+ mpg!
