R32

I agree only car enthusiasts would really spot this car on the road. A stock R32 doesn't have much eye candy.

funny thing.....I HAVE driven an R32 around the streets (quite a bit, actually) and....most people think it's an older 240 when they see it's a nissan......

but, as for an NSX...EVERYONE looks at them. there's a few around raliegh that get together and drive around...and people will stare like they're ferrari's (mostly cause they think they are, haha)

Mr B will become famous soon enough
If you can find a GT-R for MSRP when it first comes out, I'll be surprised. :)

Full Test: 2009 Nissan GT-R

The GT-R is sick…

“Its 3.3-second 0-60-mph run and 11.6 at 120.9 mph performance make the GT-R the quickest car we've ever tested.”

Posting the same note I posted in the NSX forums. The specs are awesome, but the look does nothing for me. If the car had a better look, id probably get in line for one. Props to Nissan though for bringing out this monster of a car, it raises the bar for everyone else and I hope it works out for Nissan.

And at just under $70K, it's actually attainable (kind of). :)

I can't wait to see what performance potential it has. No doubt that it will be expensive to modify anyway, but after reading the latest SCC, it sounds like it might be more difficult than I was expecting. The turbos/manifold are all one part, so for someone who wants to throw bigger turbos on it, you'll have to replace the whole assembly. Of course, all the rumors about the ECU being very hard to crack (but Im sure someone will)...but the worst thing I ready was that the new dual clutch tranny may not handle big horsepower very well until some kind of programming comes out to modify it. I also hear that aerodynamically, it is almost perfect, so any modified body kits will have to be very well designed to add anything to the body.

The only thing I dont get, okay well I do get it (this car is designed for old/more mature age group), is that it only has a DSG auto tranny. I cant believe they didnt at least make a track version or something with an optional 6spd. Eh, but I guess they aren't worried about us 18-30 something guys who actually want a manual...

I'm sick of these so called "performance oriented" cars being dumbed down to electronic automatic transmissions. Sure they are putting out 500+ WHP but please, a paddle shifter is for grandmas :( lame... why not go ahead and stick a brick on the gas pedal while your at it...

MT would make the car a more pure sports cars. But i think the manufacturers that make the Twin Clutch autos are putting them in because from a performance stand point they are faster. Such as Volkswagens DSG upshifting in like 8milliseconds or whatever. Im pretty sure we as humans couldnt shift that fast. And it truly does show from a performance stand point if you ever watched Best Motoring's Segment on DSG vs Manual.
