94 Civic 1.5L 5 speed LX head gasket 170k miles?

How much should I budget to do the job myself? I assume gasket and the cost
to tank the head?

Is the water pump easy to change at the same time? The owner says the head
gasket went shortly after the water pump and timing belt was replaced, so I
suspect the water pump or thermostat went bad and caused the head gasket to
fail?

How long does a head gasket last in a 1.5L 1994 Civic - I see several in the
paper for sale/needing head gasket.

What are some online websites with pictures that describe the steps needed
to replace the head gasket and water pump?
