Spotted: Skyline

I was driving down Culver in Irvine, CA and I noticed a particularly wide rear fender a few cars behind me. I thought to myself; "that looks like a skyline rear fender." and by george, i was right. I made my fiance take some snap shots on my cell phone as he drove past us.

R32 FTW

Sweet shots. The R32 Skylines are my favorites. Was that one a GTS-T or a GT-R?

I honestly didn't get a good enough look at it as I was driving, I was hoping I could tell from the pics my fiance took.
I just saw this same car at my local market (i wasn't close enough to tell then either). i'm sure i will see it again soon. i'll let you know.

p.s. - i love R32 skylines too. way more affordable than R34s.

Haha, that is possible. but it's probably just as much money to buy and import an R32 and legalize it.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for it and try to find out the details.

the R34 looks amazing. no doubt about it. but they're kind of played out. they're in every tuner magazine all the time. plus the R32 is a lot lighter weight.

thats true they are everywhere, its just that for me it looks better than the r32 especially the front. R34 and silvia s15 looks the best from nissan imo, even better than the current g's, z's and sky, but hey thats just my preference:DIf I was given a choice to pick one up and take home for free(yeah right:rotfl: ) id take the r34 in a heartbeat:rolleyes:

The front side emblem has a shield like a gts. I believe that the gtr has a gtr emblem on the side!?!

I believe both GTS and GT-R have a "GT" badge on the side.
Upon closer inspection, on the rear of the car, there is a GT-R badge in the correct location. At least it looks like it. the GTS would have a vinyl decal above the rear right tail light.
This appears to be a GT-R or at the very least a good replica.

i believe all r32's have the shield badge.
atleast the ones i've seen.

i saw an r34 a while back down the street from me it was beautiful.(pic below) motorex i believe before they went out.

and after i filed my tax return i saw an 09 GT-R across the street(probably because the heat endurance track is here in AZ). couldnt snap a shot though.
never seen a 32 or 33 in person D:

nice R34 ^

i've seen R32, R33, R34 all in person, I even sat in the driver seat of a $150,000 R34... but have not seen the new GT-R in person yet. They often have an R34 parked outside of Super Autobacs. I think it's Signal Auto's Skyline actually.

on edit: yeah, it is signal auto's. it's this one:

I sat in one of my customers friends R33 & a R32 in JP in '02, when I was in Okinawa, JP on business (I used to design retrofit installations for ballistic flight deck doors for Boeing 737s). It's been a while... so I didn't remember...good thing you guys did! :)
