The November issue of Consumer reports has a tire test that covers, among
others, the Hydroedge. It was chosen as a Quick Pick, second only to the
Michelin X as an all-season tire, but in the test was rated below it in the
Tread Life column. They had a provision that stated that if long tread life
is a deciding factor, the Hydroedge was second to the Yokohama Avid TRZ in
these tests.
