Rally Car Ground clearance?

Hey, Anybody know off hand what kind of ground clearance is needed for an average rally car? I've never seen one up close.

Probably depends. 100% tarmac would be pretty low on some low profile tires. Dirt would be higher with small wheels and fat tires.

depends what you're running, smooth gravel roads usually you'll run about 5 or 6 inches, but rough and rutted roads you want to run 6+, it all depends on the conditions. i run between 5 and 7 inches on my car, but i mostly run heavy gravel roads that get a lot of ruts

Do you have any spring recomendations for the Fit to improve handling but also keep the ground clearance?

hmm... i think you'd need coilovers for height adjustability in the long run. when conditions change you'd have to change the height to accomodate.

Tein Basic coilovers do just that (only height adjustable, set dampening rates).
