I'm new to the forum...drooling over all things Fit. I want one so badly...I will have a 2010 Blackberry Pearl Sport w/Nav and VSA. I'm not terribly interested in doing anything to the engine...maybe a carbon fiber intake (any suggestions/websites I should check out?). I am seriously thinking about carbon fiber OEM wing/hatch/OEM hood, side skirts, and carbon fiber B-pillar. I've been looking at them on carbon-creations.com (do a google search). Any thoughts?? All in good time of course. I've been perusing the forums and went looking for the PA community...how do we join?? When I go to Social Groups...I don't see us...I have to look in archives. What gives?? I see Fits here in York (south central PA...30 min from Harrisburg, 45 min from B-more, 2hrs from Philly, 3-4 hrs from Pittsburgh I think) all the time. I'm excited to see some of us Fitfreaks around.

Not much traffic in this forum unfortunately, but if you read other forums here you'll see a lot of PA/NJ/NY/MD/VA region Fit folk. For some reason this particular thread just doesn't get the posts.

Right now the problem lies in the two Hondas I own/buying right now. If you check out my profile...Elsie is just getting harder and harder to repair...although she is still going with few problems (a new carb= $$, I already tried having it cleaned). The money pit is the real problem. Lets just say that I would like to beat up the previous owner.... She has low miles for the year and type of car. Unfortunately I had no idea the amount of money it would have taken for her to run properly when I bought her. I over paid, GRR. I spent $3000 back in May (another Loan I had to take out) fixing up her engine, and I had to take it to Honda to do it. New engine wiring harness, new exhaust manifold and down pipe, new alternator (that was what put me over the edge and said f-it lets just fix it right and be done with it), new primary oxygen sensor. Then when I got it back some a**hole put scratches all down the passenger side of the car...the side without any previous scratches...GRRRR. Shortly after I bought the car...she let me sit two blocks away from work...needed a new alternator (no problem, did that ourselves). Back in May, I'm driving to lunch...and I smell something burning in my engine...gauges were fine. Take it to the shop...Alternator was burning up it's guts...that burning was the copper on the inside of the alternator...and of course I could get a new one...only to have it burn itself up again? No, that's when I said f-it. At the end of June I lost my job...last month some kids decided that I needed new drivers side windows and shot them both out with a BB gun. So I've pretty much had it with the money pit...one more thing and I'm afraid I might just lose it. Faulkner Honda had my Fit in stock a few weeks ago...and I thought I would just go in there and see if I could take her home with me...and lose the money pit. They only wanted to give me $3000 for her, that would only pay for 1/2 my loans. The Fit's monthly payment plus the other loan payment puts the whole thing outta range right now. I haven't given up though. I will have my Fit, just a matter of time. Sorry for the storybook.

lol i had enuf time to read the story, yet i still scratch my head tryin to understand it, maybe its the red bull lol id still gladly come to the meets, (i used to own a fit )how ever it wont be a fit thats arriving on the scene, no sir, an ep3 yes sirre lol im not settling for anything else, just need a job and its mine ive already planned and did the math, its just a matter of getting a part time minimum wage job n living wit my parents lol
