went to road race at Texas World Speedway friday. here the vid.

Feel free to crank it up to 1080 HD

haha yeah it was a LOT of fun. ran a whole bunch. only 2 offs. 1 was controlled/ accepted off. so no damage there. that one on the vid though, lol. I got all greedy entering that turn. like the lap before, i noticed i could deff pull more speed through it. well, I decided not to brake and stayed flat footed. I exited the turn at 90mphs. (last speed I saw right before I went off, so it could have been more lol) Only damage was the undermost center part of my spash guard. the fender guards are fine. It riped the center off and wrapped around my cat. haha I finished pulling it off, let it melt off my cat, and now it sits in the garbage can at TWS. second time ive replaced it so screw it, its not meant for me. im leaving it naked.

i used my TR wheels. the dunlop star specs were like glue. omg. never have i felt such a great tire. A++++

On the actual speedway (nascar part) I maxed the fit out at 135. talk about a high speed track. soo much fun. me and my gang (5 others) will be going back in october. debating aug also haha.

Well, this is considered an open track day meaning you have to already be solo'd. I did an ass ton of road racing tracks here in texas and even as far as illinoise. details about this is below. also, I started as a novice in HPDE through The Drivers Edge and eventally became solo's/ non-newb. Its soooo much fun. road racing is where its at. Here in tyler, all my very good friends and I have been into it for a good while now. The guy I went to the track with drives a full race ITR k20/24. fast as fuck. Ill link his video this same day as well. you can see me whip on his cam too haha

TWS INFO:
TWS Open Track Days

An Open Track Day allows participants to drive on the racetrack as fast as is safely possible. There is no racing for this event, only wide open track time at full speed. These events almost always are held on a Friday prior to a weekend event. Open Track is four hours long and open for Blue Solo and Advanced Drivers.
On the day of the event, gates open an hour before Open Track begins with a mandatory driver's meeting fifteen minutes prior to hot track. Depending on the time of year, Open Track runs from 1-5 p.m. during the winter and spring, and from 2-6 p.m. during the summer and fall.

heres my friend ITR k20/24 video
Untitled on Vimeo

also, we are going back as a group to TWS but with the drivers edge school as well. so novices can part take as well! you guys should come! heres the link on our forum as well as the registration page for this event. remember this event coming up in october, you do NOT have to have experiance or be solo'd. there will be instructors there to aid and assist you and teach you so you can move up to a higher skill level and eventally solo.

We are going to try to get a nice group of folks for this event. Registration is open NOW! -------> http://www.thedriver...t/02_tracks.htm

If you are a NOOB or INTERMEDIATE you need to register very soon, as these groups usually fill up first and fast!

Website with all the info -----> http://www.thedriversedge.net

our site link to this event: The Drivers Edge @ Texas World Speedway - East Texas Automotive Enthusiasts Forums

feel free to become a member at texas-racing.com with all of us texans. not trying to spam or jack members just saying.

once again, check out my vid from your pc or laptop for it to work. I <3 GoPro ^_^
