Thanks for posting this up and taking the time to see what your car will do in the straight. Nice time!

ya I think if I took off the rear wing and adjusted the alignment so that it was closer to 0 degrees camber I would have a better time. I had a 2.1 60 ft on 1 run but I'm missed second. The start felt really good the tires were spinning and was waiting to hook and by the time it hooked I was ready to shift I was about 7500 rpm which is too much for the transmission to go in smooth.

Yes. 160 hp. But kit can make over 200 if I wanted.

Grrr

Damn it! Need to see more Fit times. Looking to see more late model Fits. Tracks are closing (or already closed). This Friday, temps will be COLD due to the polar vortex dropping down in the midwest. Should make for some quick runs if you have a track open near you.

Come out and get that best time and post up. I'm aiming for a 15.5-15.6 but I have no more tricks up my sleeve until some parts come in. Only relying on the colder temps.

colder temps dont help as much as we want! Especially since our IAT sensors are heat soaked so bad from the factory.

We Fit owners really need to figure out an external IAT sensor setup. Ive always thought of getting a MAF pinout and using a second MAF, using only the air temp wires, and moving it just in front of the filter (dangling lol)

Would you mind pin pointing exactly where the IAT sensor is on the 2015 Fit? I'm ignorant! I see three things going into the intake after the maf sensor. I don't know which one is the IAT exactly.

Its the same MAF sensor used in the GE, so its combined with the MAF, hence why it is 5 wires (or 6? been a minute since I looked)

Its very common for car manufacturers to combine air temp with MAF. One less casting piece of plactic, and probably a couple million saved lol

Are you kidding me? I didn't know this! I have to test this out then. Guess I'll make a new intake with the maf sensor connected directly to a prm type air filter that is connected directly to the air intake scoop. I still can not get the intake air temps to be exactly the same as the ambient air temp. Currently, it's always 5F warmer or higher, maybe 3F warmer for a brief second.

Need to look for where the temperature sensor is mounted as well. Thanks!

It will never be the same as ambient. Only for the first few seconds at the first start up it will be close but when running it will always be warmer.

Damn bud that's a great time! Congratulations on beating your goal. With a better 60 ft time you can be in the 14s!

Are you getting any wheel hop off the line?

No wheel hop! Even with traction control disabled. I still have a lot of work to do with the 60ft. So far so good though, being though it's a CVT.

15.2xx is AMAZEBALLS!!!

2.4 isn't that bad of a 60' either. In SCCA STF Pro Solo (heads up drag style launch) low 2.3's is FAST.

Myaxl, do you have a weight for your car in race trim yet?!

Yes Sir!

You are correct, it is 'race trim' but I drive like this everyday. Just got back from grocery shopping with the Misses. No rear seats, spare or jack. I'm nuts I know! Life is short so have fun. Hehe!

Oh man!!! I'm at 2390 after seats, battery, suspension, wheels/tires and exhaust!!!! The GK is LITE...

Very rough math has you close to 140hp as well...

I'm hoping to hit that with E85, custom IM and tuned length intake...

Gonna hit the track tomorrow, IF they open. They may not because it will be about 24F around 8pm. I'm banking of this if they open since I previously ran the 15.2 at 38F.

Looking to crack a 15.0-15.1. Hoping for a 14.9 but we all know that won't happen. I was only kidding about trying to hit 14's before but our Fits are here now. Gonna try anything I can. The cold air ducting has been completely sealed this time out. Fun times! Come out if you by Cecil County Dragway and get a few runs in.

I have been hoping for a stock Acura Integra Type R or late model Honda Civic Si 1/4 mile time.

Both Atco Raceway and Cecil County Raceway are closed tonight due to the 'cold weather'. Oh well!

Super good time again my friend, just for perspective I did a 15.3 in my old car (96 civic cx, B20Z swap (146 hp non vtec), ITR tranny/clutch/flywheel/lsd, AEM intake, stock pea shooter exhaust, middle of the summer temps). And that was with a 2.2 60ft!

So kudos to you, I hope to break the 15s in my GD with, weapon r race header, open header, weight reduction, CAI, vx wheels running 175/60r13 tires.

Unfortunately the headers are out of stock until Feb at the earliest...so i ordered a tanabe medallion touring for a subtle exhaust note on the daily commute.
