you dont lose any top speed. the top speed is determined by the gearing. the lightweight flywheel takes away rotational mass so the engine revs quicker and doesnt have to work as hard spinning a larger, heavier flywheel. its the same idea as putting lightweight wheels on your car but its a little more extreme than that because instead of losing weight so far outside of the engine, the weight is lost at the point of the conversion of power, therefore, amplifying the weight reduction of rotational mass.
its a good mod. dont think of it as adding horsepower to your engine, but freeing up the horsepower that is already there.
