The same reason people put Euro plates on Mercs and BMWs, purely looks. I like them, I'm looking to get one, but personalized for my car.

Are they plates real? As in were they on a Japanese car before? Cause I know the other ones are just BS with the car's chassis code.

No not real, its impossible to find a japanese plate new and for this price they are all $50 and up each plus shipping and as I said they are always USED. These are NEW .
