Seller feedback?

Not too familiar with this sites for sale area but, has anyone though of a rating system?

I know on other sites there is a "Trader Rating" or "For Sale Feedback" that will show next to the person's screen name. Just like e-bay as it will show the other person they dealt with and their experience be it good or bad. This could help maybe later when the site gets larger, more aftermarket parts come out and people start selling or trading more often. That way there is some sort of "reputation" for people to try to feel safe over.

Just a thought.

this is a great idea. I dont think theres enough parts sold on here yet, but it is definitely a good idea. I have been apart of other forums that had this.

Yeah, definitely not enough parts yet. But it is something that should be looked at as this place should grow within a good 6 months or so.

I agree 100%- GREAT idea! Here's my advanced review of some vendors-

Zeta Products- Good vendor, easy to deal with. Will buy from them again.
The Progress Group- Good vendor, easy to deal with, excellent products. Will buy from them again.
K & N Filters- Stay Away! Buy their basic stuff from Ebay or auto parts stores, but watch out for systems bought direct from K & N headquarters. Will never buy from them again. Many other competitors with better quality and prices.
A Spec- Nice people, low prices, quality not so good. Tanabe has better quality at similar prices.

No worries FaceYogurt...I am just looking at this from a whole...

When I had my SRT-4, I searched "SRT-4" and found srtforums. I watched that place BOOM in no time back in 03 as the SRT-4 took off and I hope the Fit will too. When I searched "Honda Fit Forums", this is what came up first (with real information). So I found a home here. I know that the Fit SHOULD take off and parts will be for sale. Veteran's who are here for a while will have an unspoken reputation, while we need to make sure as well, that we don't get scammed.

By the way, as the site grows, if you ever need another mod, feel free to let me know. I was a mod for the srtforums before I left there a year or so ago...then I retired!

This is a great idea...like trader rating type deal. I already sold a few things so this would be nice for me to get some feedback and also nice for fitfreaks to know I am reliable.

it looks like this will be more involving to implement. We'll have to move this lower on our priority list.

i completely agree that this would be a great idea now. there is stuff being sold/posted all the time. i would love to know more about who i am buying from, especially since i have bought things from people that were in bad condition when they said they were like new...this would be a good way to weed out the people who are here to rip people off or get over on somebody in any form.
