YO computer ROB can you.....?

I rely on the new posts section to catch up on what new stuff has come in overnight and it used to be fine. But with all the new members posting 4 pages of new posts is not enough to include all the new posts that get put up overnight so members have to go to the forums section and check each separate forum to catch threads that were not included in new posts.

Is there anyway that you can change the default amount of new posts shown from the current 4 up to 6-8??? So we don't have to be checking all the individual forums daily.

I would imagine as this site grows in popularity this is an inevitable growing pain. I suppose the format is currently limited to however many posts it takes to equal 4 pages. Would it be possible or usefull if it was a rolling 24 hour period?

As in new posts/threads will be present for 24 hours in that section however many that would be. It would obviously be more on heavily active days and less pages on slower days. Is that possible or even worth it?

Looking to see if there is a setting in the admincp if not it might be something I can change in one of the templates.

It was just limited by the max search results we had. I upped that from 100 to 150. We will need to see how that effects site performance. Might need to bring it back to 100, but this will give 6 pages of results.
