There should be a third generation Fit section that includes the sedan so that post concerning the next generation are separate from the 1st and 2nd generation. Maybe to encourage people who don't own a Fit currently but when more information is released on the new Fit get interested may join prior to getting one. It will also give a place for owners from Japan to post.

 

the first thing we should do is merge this thread with the "where is everybody" thread complaining of lack of activity. First this thread on reorganizing the site is started back in 2010, a few posts in 2012, and it is now only resurrected today. Not exactly mandate material.
The Mods can either create as many stickys as possible prior to deleting everything else on the boards, OR, they can simply delete the search box on our site since it serves nobody's purpose very well. Put a big red banner up stating that before a member posts a question, simply go to the internet and type in the search terms: "fitfreak" and whatever related terms to their question, like: "gd" and "struts". I have quickly found excellent information that way, that was impossible to find by using the fit freak search box. Cleaning out an attic after 1 year is doable. Cleaning out the attic after as many years as this site has been running, with the 50x duplicate thread postings is pretty impossible at this point.

 

I have seen the reorganization project has been going on since 2010 really not reorganization request I made just set up a new section. Agree with you a lot of threads could be merged end up with the same thread repeat over and over.
