Why, you think they're selling it out from under you? I'll keep my eyes peeled. Did see an 08 BBP the other day with the license plate "Knitty"

Blackberry pearl
My wife ordered this color and I warned her about how it would look dirty easy.............She didn't believe me until today when she saw an 08 fit in that color. She immediately called the dealer. We will be getting our new 09 next week. This will be our 10th honda the first 6 were base model civics then 3 accords and in 2003 we got an element ex 4wd Loved the versitility hated the mpg(about 22mpg)I know the fit is not as big as the element but the versatility is there. Never had any problems beyond normal wear. Honda seems to always make a great product(OK the Passport was a mistake, but isuzu made that)
Honda shadow 750

I moved to St. Louis just this past March, and am currently living near SLU. Planning on getting a Fit in the next week or so, assuming one can be found. (Hopefully that's a bit easier right now.)
What are you guys paying for insurance? I just got a quote from State Farm for almost $200/mo. I used to pay half of that (though I can't compare directly, since my last car was a used Neon in NY). Is ~$200/mo reasonable here in STL?

I pay $304 every 6 months ($1000 deductible) through American Family Insurance, is that cheap? I have another car and house through them, so I think they have me at a lower rate. I'm 26 with no tickets or claims for a few years...

Thanks for the info, reako.
$200/mo is twice what I was paying in NY, though granted this quote was for a brand new 2009 Fit. Still, I'm 36 with no tickets (though didn't have ins/car for last 3 yrs)... but $200 still seemed high. I'll have to call back SF and see how they came up with that quote.
My father sent me contact info for AFI, so I'm going to get a quote from them as well.

Here are a couple of pictures that I finally took. Nothing special, just sitting in the driveway. Also, is anyone else on STLHondas? I have been lurking there for a while and finally started posting.
